20- page comic commissioned by Monaghan County Council, to commemorate the 100th anniversary of the Battle of the Somme. Three key Irish figures took part in the conflict; this tells their stories.

A series of illustrations commissioned by 442 Design, Edinburgh for CAP Brewery, Stockholm. Many feature the owner, Mattias in various amusing battles with Hop Monsters. A very fun and creative brief with a lovely team in 442 and offset by beautiful typography by their design department. I enjoyed a bottle after the brief was done. Delicious!

Ongoing series of illustrations for Risk Magazine- The world's leading financial risk management magazine. The illustrations accompany articles explaining arcane and complex financial procedures. The brief and content is always explained in great detail. Despite these very rigorous directions, I always enjoy working for Risk. The subject matter is frequently fantastical and always visually interesting.

Ongoing series of illustrations for Eurotimes magazine; a monthly, subscription magazine for european cataract and refractive surgeons. Usually, I am called upon to illustrate specific surgical procedures but on occasion, I am able to interpret the brief in a more metaphorical way.

A series of illustrations commissioned by Attitude magazine- the biggest selling LGBT magazine in Europe. Used to accompany fiction by some of the best gay writers in the UK including Paul Burston and Clayton Littlewood.

A series of illustrations for the documentary "Faithful Rising", commissioned by Offaly County Council to commemorate the 1916 rising and the key role played by the Tullamore Brigade in the conflict. The illustrations were used to enhance the narrative by bringing it to life in a way that photographs could not. Produced by Hello Camera productions, Birr Co. Offaly. This was a unique opportunity for me to document a pivotal event in the history of the Irish State. As with so many Irish people, I have direct descendants who took part in this most seminal of Irish historical conflicts, so it was an honour to undertake this commission..

Storyboards and visuals for the advertising industry. Clients include: DDFH&B, Leo Burnett, RunningManTwo London, Irish International and VCCP London.

Illustrations for a diverse client base, including: Harper- Collins, Shannon Trust books, Dorling- Kindersley, Gill and Macmillan among others.

Star Wars pastiche for 2000AD's "Future Shocks". This was released in the same week as Rogue One and was an absolute joy to work on. Script by Rory McConville and lettering by Ellie De Ville.

Life drawing is something I undertake in my spare time to keep my work grounded in observation. It is a very liberating experience to interpret the figure in a completely spontaneous way and serves as a very useful counterpoint to my commissioned work.

My debut for 2000AD in 2014: "Family Business" tells the tale of a time- travelling mercenary who apparently meets himself on battlefields of the past. It was a very intense, dark and challenging script which called for many time periods to be depicted realistically. This called for lots of research which I love and it was lettered expertly by Annie Parkhouse.

"Two Tons of Trouble" was a one- off, 9- page story for the Judge Dredd Megazine. A hilarious story of a famous character from 2000AD history, Tony Tubbs. The story revisits the character, a former World Champion Fattie who is down on his luck and now has a point to prove to his disapproving family. It is precisely this pitch- black humour found in 2000AD that has been a trademark of the comic since its inception. It was a blast to work on this script by David Baillie.

A new story and characters for 2000AD, co- created by Gordon Rennie, Emma Beeby and myself. It tells the ongoing story of two paranormal investigators in Edwardian England. It debuted in the 2000AD Winter Special 2014 and was then commissioned for a six- part series which ran in the weekly in 2015.

Work for the so- called "Lad Mags", FHM and Zoo. Both very fun jobs featuring lots of action.

Various editorial pieces created for The Irish Independent newspaper.

A one- off Dredd story published in the 2000AD summer special, 2014. It was written by Emma Beeby, who co- created The Alienist with Gordon Rennie and me. She is, to date, the only female writer to ever write Dredd. It tells the story of a cursed alien idol which Dredd comes into possession of, precipitating a series of bizarre twists and mishaps. A very fun, old- school Dredd tale. Great colouring job by John Paul Bove.

Editorial work to accompany articles published in the Irish Times weekend section. Subjects covered include teenage sexual promiscuity, the Irish Supreme Court and the IMF.

Illustrations for outdoor, online and direct mail advertising. Clients include: Ray- Ban, HSE, BT Ireland among others.
